Makiella Orozco-Giuliano

PARAMEDICAL ESTHETICIAN, FOUNDER

Makiella, MAKI, is a paramedical esthetician with a long background in nutrition and wellness and a certification from Venice Nutrition  in addition to her degree in Psychology and associate in marketing and business administration.  She was a former radio and television anchor/personality for Telemundo Spanish media, in Tampa, Florida.

Her extensive background and knowledge inspire her to form in 2007 Orozco Wellness Center, an integrative nutrition and counseling center, and was among the first to use nutritional IV therapies for improved health and wellness. In 2014 she founded  Maki Med Spa and Wellness Center following collaboration with husband, Dr. Vincenzo Giuliano.

Makiella has had advanced education in skincare and is able to perform a variety of treatments at Maki Med Spa and Wellness from customized facials, to consultations , pre and post treatments evaluations , Hydrafacial , Microneedling , PlexR just to mention a few.

She currently is in charge of developing the marketing campaigns and the introduction of new products and techniques  to the Medspa as well as overseeing the customize treatments plans and protocols  for every patient.

She believes that every patient should be treated as a whole and every proposed treatment plan should include a wellness approach as well as aesthetics,  both should be going hand to hand , Makiella’s moto is that beauty comes from the inside out.

Dr. Vincenzo Giuliano

Medical Director

Dr Giuliano Vincenzo Giuliano M.D. has over 20 years of practice experience as a Board-Certified physician.  Known for compassionate and patient-focused healthcare specializing in precision diagnostic imaging guided procedures and state of the art esthetic s. Dr. Giuliano is a pioneer in diagnostic imaging and recently has adapted the use of high resolution hand held ultrasound for esthetic procedures, unique in the industry.  He is the author of nearly 40 scientific publications  manuscripts, ebooks, U.S. Patents and collaborated  on a research paper related to plastic surgery.

Dr. Giuliano is a graduate of Pennsylvania University College of Medicine with post graduate medical training at Hahnemann University Hospital and Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University, ABR Certified in 1998.

Since  2014, Dr. Giuliano has been involved with esthetics and wellness as Medical Director of Maki Med Spa & Wellness . He has certified training with Allergan, Galderma, PDO Max , Hans Biomedical products

Dr. Giuliano has introduced the use of diagnostic ultrasound, novel to esthetic practice.  This involves the specialized use of a hand held small ultrasound probe to look beneath the skin surface into the subcutaneous tissue and dermis, down into the deeper layers, including muscle and bone. Ultrasound is a non-invasive imaging technology that uses sound waves to visualize body tissues.  Some applications include the following.

• Evaluate volume and placement of dermal fillers.

• Dissolve unwanted dermal fillers with enzyme using ultrasound guidance, if needed.

• Evaluate complications of esthetic procedures, such as hematoma and infection/abscess.

• Evaluate placement of ends of PDO threads in various locations.

• Evaluate formation of new tissue formation related to collagen and fibrous connection.

• Evaluate neovascularity and healthy tissue perfusion.

Dr. Giuliano also uses PLEX-R, the newest technique of non-surgical blepharoplasty for treatment of hooded upper eyelids and lower eyelid laxity, an alternative to surgical treatment.  It also can be used to revise prior surgical blepharoplasty and/or unwanted scars.

One of the more exciting new technologies is the PDO thread lift procedure.  Dr. Giuliano currently uses FDA-approved MINT PDO threads to achieve minimally-invasive alternative to surgical midface and jowl lifts using bioresorbable barbed sutures, provided potential long term cosmetic results for up to 2 years.  Other applications include eyebrow and nose lifts.  Non-surgical rhinoplasties can be performed using a combination of fillers and PDO threads in patients either not suitable candidates for surgery or desiring non-surgical options.  Lifting procedures can be prepped or augmented using one or more techniques, such as:  mesotherapy and RF microneedling; cryotherapy treatments to firm and slim;  and Deoxycholic acid dissolution of large fat deposits.

Dr. Giuliano also incorporates plasma-rich plasma (RPR) and STEM cell therapies into microneedling techniques for facial rejuvenation and improving scars.  Finally, wellness is an important therapeutic goal not only in achieving beauty from the inside out, but also to improve overall health and wellness.  Nutritional IV therapies are provided at the center, targeted to boost the immune system, and also to provide micronutrient support and improve energy levels. 

Suzan Caballero

Office Manager

Commencing her role as the highly admired office manager at Maki Medspa & Wellness, Suzan brings to the team not just years of experience, but an invaluable abundance of expertise that has been nurtured and honed over the span of more than 16 years working in close collaboration with Dr. Vincenzo Giuliano. In her professional journey, Suzan has not only accumulated practical know-how but has also actively sought to enhance her knowledge base. This is evident in her academic pursuits, which led her to achieve an Associates in Arts degree from Valencia College, complemented by the successful completion of courses at the esteemed University of Central Florida.

Suzan's professional prowess, however, is only part of her story. What sets her apart is her unyielding dedication to the welfare of the patients she serves. It's a commitment that goes beyond mere duty and permeates her daily endeavors, fueled by an unwavering passion for providing the highest level of care. Her dedication is unwavering, and her drive to continually improve the patient experience is relentless.



In her personal life, Suzan's love story is a testament to the enduring bonds of true love. She has been married to her high school sweetheart for an impressive 24 years, a journey that speaks volumes about the strength of their connection. Together, they've built a loving family, proud parents to a son and daughter, both currently navigating the exciting challenges of college life. For Suzan, family is at the heart of everything, and she cherishes every moment spent together.

Beyond the office and the family hearth, Suzan finds joy in exploring the world around her. Whether it's soaking up the sun on a beautiful beach or embarking on adventures to new and exciting destinations, her thirst for experiences is insatiable. Her life philosophy, encapsulated in the belief that "with God, all things are possible," serves as a guiding beacon, infusing every aspect of her life with positivity, hope, and an unwavering sense of purpose.

Gabriela Leon

Esthetician

Gabriela Leon is a licensed esthetician with over three years of experience specializing in body

treatments. She is passionate about helping clients feel confident, comfortable, and supported

on their self-care journey. Gabriela is known for creating a welcoming, judgment-free

environment where every client feels respected and empowered while working toward their

body goals.

Outside of the treatment room, Gabriela enjoys expressing her creativity through crafting, often

creating thoughtful, handmade pieces for her loved ones as a meaningful gesture of care and

affection. She also loves unwinding with a good horror movie and spending quality time with her

dogs and family, which helps her recharge and stay grounded. These personal passions reflect

her nurturing nature and creativity, qualities she brings into every client experience to create a

space that feels comforting, genuine, and welcoming.

Keysha Salinas

Office Coordinator

As a Med Spa Office Coordinator with a passion of client care and organizational

excellence, Keysha brings a unique blend of administrative expertise and knowledge of

aesthetic services to ensure a seamless, welcoming experience for every guest. With

over 8 years as a licensed esthetician, I combine my knowledge and love for the industry

to ensure every patient receives exceptional care, personalized attention, and a seamless

experience from the moment they walk through the door. Keysha takes great pride in her

role as a Med Spa Office Coordinator, where she creates a welcoming, organized, and

efficient environment that allows both patients and providers to thrive.

When Keysha is not working. She loves discovering new places, whether it’s a hidden

gem in the city or a scenic spot perfect for photography. She has a passion for capturing

beautiful moments and creating memories through travel and exploration. As a true

foodie, she enjoys seeking out local eateries and trying unique dishes wherever she goes.

Keysha’s perfect day off incudes sleeping in, catching up on her favorite TV shows, and

unwinding with her family over a cozy night of romantic comedies. These moments help

her recharge and stay inspired both personally and professionally.
